HPDS Corp. is a private technology company founded in 2014, in Tehran, Iran and currently it is the largest data storage manufacturer in Iran and Middle East. Since its foundation, HPDS have focused on design and manufacturing of storage management products and solutions including SANs, NAS, data backup, and video surveillance. With the aim of innovative architectures and data management techniques, HPDS has offered various SAN products including SAB series to meet customers reliability and performance requirements with affordable cost. The company has been granted various international patents in data management techniques and has also published very high quality papers in top venues. In the last few years, HPDS has sold 40+ million dollars of its products to large-scale companies in Iran including bank institutes, insurance companies, large-scale universities and organizations, ICT ministry, telecom corps, and Tehran stock market. In 2023, the company announced its latest SAN product, called SANGold AF, which offers full redundancy with 500K I/O per second performance, which is best suited for very high transaction applications. Besides high performance and data reliability, one of the major key factors in design and implementation of HPDS products is data security, which has been incorporated in all system layers from hardware to core system functionality. The company is enthusiastically seeking to reach international markets in various types of business collaboration including business networking, co-production, and even technology transfer for large-market regions.

The research in DSN Lab. is specialized to storage systems and proposing storage solutions for a variety of performance, dependability, and capacity needs. HPDS products are directly inspired by the research work backed in DSN Lab., including security test, dependability test, and performance evaluation of our innovative storage designs. As an example, we can note RapidStore software/hardware product that designed and tested in DSN Lab. and is exclusively commercialized under HPDS license. RapidStore is serving as the accelerator of SAB100-SE storage system and can improve the performance by 2X to 10X, depending on the workload.

Research projects of HPDS Corp. also include software and simulation environments for standard benchmarking of storage systems, publicly available for enthusiasts.
